Lancashire and University Of Salford Extend Partnership

THE UNIVERSITY of Salford is delighted to announce and extension to its long-standing partnership with Lancashire County Cricket Club (LCCC) at Emirates Old Trafford.

The deal will see the university continue to be the Club’s higher education partner which will enable students to undertake internships at Emirates Old Trafford throughout each cricket season.

Students will also be able to use the media and broadcast facilities in the AJ Bell Players & Media Centre as part of their study programmes whilst also assisting the Club in creating additional content across its digital platforms.

Hannah Burchell, Associate Director of Marketing from the University of Salford, said: “Like the University of Salford, LCCC is a local institution that serves a passionate community and offers opportunities for young people.

“We have had a tremendous working relationship over the past five years and I’m delighted that we will continue to be the Club’s higher education partner for the next two years. Creating exceptional industry partnerships is key to ensuring that our students have a great experience whilst they study with us, and that they leave the University with the practical, technical and professional skills they need for a successful career.”
