Salford Student Residences in the top three best in the UK

PEEL PARK QUARTER has been a huge success with students since it opened its doors on our main campus in 2015.

The £81m development’s modern design includes multiple social spaces, fantastic views of the Manchester skyline and even two 30-seater cinemas!

Now, the complex which houses nearly 1,400 students have earned it 3rd place out of almost 1,000 halls of residences around the country,

Student Hut

The ranking was put together by Student Hut, from over 9,000 reviews on their site.

Molly Jacobsen-Hunt, who lived in Peel Park during her first year of university said: “I would recommend Peel Park to any first year student looking for accommodation in Salford. It’s a great place to mingle and meet new people, something that was great if you’re worried about struggling to make friends at university.”

The halls, run by Campus Living Villages on behalf of the University of Salford, are located on the university’s main Peel Campus, arranged in seven blocks named after famous Salford people, including painter L S Lowry and women’s rights campaigner Emmeline Pankhurst.

PPQ offers the choice of 6 bedroom types from Bronze with ‘simple’ en-suite room and small double bed, to Diamond standard; a more spacious bedroom that even comes with a sofa!

Gym and wifi

There’s also a free on-site gym, private dining rooms, free 50MB wifi and convenience, with the library only 100m away, and the sports centre and student union right next door.
