Salford academic receives second THE nomination in 3 years

School of the Built Environment lecturer, Paul Tracy, has been shortlisted for the 2015 Times Higher Education Most Innovative Teacher award. It is the second time that Paul has been nominated for this award - he also reached the shortlist in 2012 - making Paul's 2015 nomination a particularly significant achievement.
Since joining the University in 2010, after 25 years in the construction industry as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor, Paul has scooped numerous awards, including the Vice-Chancellor’s Distinguished Teaching Award in 2013.
Paul is a Lecturer in Construction Law, in the School of the Built Environment, which was recently ranked in the world’s top 50 universities, following the prestigious QS World Rankings, which rated SoBE fourth in the UK and 39th in the World.
Melanie Stephens, from the School of Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work & Social Sciences, reached the THE Most Innovative Teacher of the Year award shortlist last year, making it ‘two in a row’ for the University.
The 2015 winners will be announced on 26 November, at a ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel, in London.
