Entries invited for 2016 Salford Business Awards

The 2016 Salford Business Awards will open for entries on Thursday 14th January, this will be our 9th year and we have taken the opportunity to completely refresh the Salford Business Awards brand.

City Mayor Ian Stewart said: “These awards are open to businesses of all sizes and companies in every industry. People can enter one or more of the seven categories, which include innovation, entrepreneurship and work in the community.

“It’s a fantastic opportunity to showcase the amazing range and diversity of industry in Salford and be recognised as the best in your field.”

The closing date for entries to the Awards, which are sponsored by TalkTalk Technology and organised by Salford City Council, the University of Salford and The Business Group Salford is Monday 29th February. Following judging and shortlisting in April, winners and runners-up will be announced at a ceremony held at The AJ Bell Stadium on 26th May 2016.

Applying for the Awards online is simple and applications will be accepted from any Salford-based business at http://www.salfordbusinessawards.co.uk/application-form. The award categories are:

*                Entrepreneur Award

*                Best Employer Award

*                Rising Star Award

All applicants are automatically entered into the Business of the Year Award.
